Fishing
Fishing is a strategic, spell-based mini-game in Gigaverse where players use spells (cards) to catch fish in a 3x3 grid-based arena. Every successful catch adds a new Spell to your deck for that day.
Overview
Spells are drawn from your fishing deck.
Each spell costs mana and targets specific grid tiles.
Fish move randomly across the grid.
The goal is to deal enough damage before the fish escapes.
Mechanics
You play spells from your deck, each with a unique hit pattern and mana cost.
Hitting the fish fills the catch bar; missing or running out of mana causes it to escape.
Each successful catch adds a new spell to your deck for the day.
Entry Requirements
There are three cast types, each requiring different energy:
💧 Small Cast – 12 Energy
💧 Normal Cast – 16 Energy
💧 Big Cast – 20 Energy
Each cast size can affect the type and rarity of fish encountered.
Rewards
Fishing yields fish with unique properties:
Stats: Weight (WGT), Length (LNG), Girth (GRT)
Rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Relic, Giga
Daily Limits
🎣 Normal Mode: 10 casts per day
🍹 Juice Mode: 20 casts per day
Spells
Spells are the cards you play to catch fish. You start with a random deck each day and earn more as you fish.
Each Spell Card Has
Mana Cost – Required to cast
Hit Boxes – Grid tiles that will be hit
Blue = normal hit
Orange = critical hit
Red/Grey = miss
Hit Multiplier – Amount of damage done to catch bar

Fishing Skill Points
Level up your fishing effectiveness by spending seaweed earned from selling fish.
Skills:
Stamana – Increases starting mana
Hookery – Boosts critical cast chance
Jebaitor – Chance to not consume bait
Weed Dealer – Increases fish sell value
Fish Snob – Chance to improve fish quality
Luck – Chance to improve fish rarity
Rod Handling – Chance to reveal next fish move
Doubler – Chance to catch 2 fish on 1 cast
